We have been associated with North Dandenong Clinic for several years. We use them for our pre-employment medical exams. A prompt turn-around time (often within an hour of the medical being completed) is beneficial to both our management and prospective employees. Medical incidents are also seen in a timely manner. Their experience handling work-related injuries is reassuring and workers are always given modified or alternative duties to keep workers engaged in the workplace. They have always helped us keep lost-time injuries and workplace disruption to a minimum. We also utilise their annual flu vaccination program. A time is arranged for a doctor to visit the factory to administer vaccinations and any workers who misses out are able to attend the clinic at another time.

Standard Medicals
From $198.00 (incl. GST)
Typically completed as a pre-employment medical, our standard medical aims to assess a person’s general health and fitness, as opposed to risks linked to specific workplace exposures or high-risk duties. Standard medicals are completed when a person’s proposed responsibilities include light duties, office work, non-hazardous tasks and when no regulatory or industry-specific medical is required.
Our standard medical consists of a:
- Demographic and occupational history
- Health and lifestyle questionnaire
- General health assessment
Our standard medical is highly flexible. Organisations can choose to combine
their standard medical with a combination of other components in line with
their specific company health and safety requirements. These may include:
- Audiometry Test (Hearing Assessment) – $55.00 incl. GST
- Spirometry Test (Lung Function Assessment) – $55.00 incl. GST
- Vision Test – $55.00 incl. GST
- Urine and Drug Screen (Instant) – $66.00 incl. GST
- Urine and Drug Screen (Melbourne Pathology) – $88.00 incl. GST
- Musculoskeletal Function Assessment (Basic) – $66.00 incl. GST
- Musculoskeletal Function Assessment (Physiotherapist Led) – $165.00 incl. GST
